Fix: If background scan for wireless networks is disable, you need to manually initiate a scan to find and connect to available wireless networks.

Generally it is best to have background scan set to enabled as this would connect your computer automatically to any pre-configured wireless networks (i.e. the ones you have set profiles for with connection settings). This means your computer will have a network connection automatically configured depending on which wireless networks are available.
